                    About Lynch Publishing

Lynch Publishing  is an independent book publishing company devoted to
printing books with multicultural themes. It is the goal of Lynch Publishing to
create literary masterpieces that depict people of color, positively.

Lynch Publishing was founded in founded in February 2006 as a means of
addressing the paucity of quality literature for, and about people of color. The
company is a subsidiary of Lynch Consulting Group, LLC.

Matthew Lynch started this company as a way to publish his own children’s
books, without having to conform to industry standards. Matthew Lynch is an
Exceptional Education Teacher at Sykes Elementary in the Jackson Public
Schools District. He is the owner of Lynch Consulting Group LLC, an
educational consulting firm. He is also a Doctoral candidate at Jackson State
University majoring in Early Childhood Education, with a cognate in
Educational Administration. Mr. Lynch is the author of
Closing the Racial
Academic Achievement Gap
, and an upcoming children’s book, entitled
Matthew and the Money Tree. His children's book will be the first title
published on Lynch Publishing.
Closing the Racial Academic Achievement Gap
and subsequent non-fiction books by Mr. Lynch will be published on African
American Images until Lynch Publishing has built its infrastructure.

Illustration Submissions:

Illustrators and Graphic Artists should submit an expanded resume as well as
a portfolio consisting of color copies, tear sheets, etc. If you have illustrated a
children’s book before, please include evidence. Please do not send original
artwork, CD’s, floppy disks, etc. along with your submissions. Lynch
Publishing is not responsible for lost or damaged materials.  If you have a
website or online portfolio that contains samples of your illustrations, please
include it in your submission. Please do not send original artwork or electronic
samples on CD or by e-mail.

Our policy is to keep only illustrations of genuine interest on file. Illustrations
that do suit our needs will be returned only if an SASE is included with
sufficient return postage.

Lynch Publishing is proud to announce the upcoming release of Matthew &

Money Tree Summary

When Matthew’s father tells him a chimerical tale of a legendary money tree,
Matthew decides to venture out into the woods in search of the money tree
and the adventure begins. Please join Mathew on his entertaining quest, in
which above all he learns the true meaning of happiness. Matthew and the
